Shane Labuzan has been a resident of the Indianapolis area since the young age of 3, migrating from Tucson Arizona. He attended North Central High School, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (BSEE), and Butler University (MBA). He has been employed in the Building Automation Industry for 27 years, including positions with Johnson Controls, Siemens, and Trane. Presently, he is the Business Development Manager for Conserv Building Automation Systems, a Niagara System Integrator serving the state of Indiana.
He was heavily incentivized to participate in A Reason To Dance by his lovely wife Wendy. He is the father of two young women, Grace and Brynne, both attending DePaul University in Chicago. When he was a younger man, he served 8 years in the US Army Reserve, leaving the service at the rank of Captain. He has served as a youth soccer coach and licensed referee for the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association, and also played in the Central Indiana Amateur League for a number of teams.
In his free time, Shane enjoys attending concerts (13 Wilco Shows since 2002!), travel (Italy, Belgium, Ireland, England, Germany in 2016), and watching English Premier League Football (GO CHELSEA!).
